UPC will host the assembly of ASOUNIESCA

On March 23 and 24, the Popular University of Cesar will host the Board of Directors of the Association of Information Units of Higher Education Institutions of the Atlantic Coast, ASOUNIESCA, which is convening all its partners to carry out Its Ordinary Assembly, which will take place in the auditorium of the IPS headquarters Sabanas.

This convention, which is held annually for this period, with a duration of two days, seeks to bring together all librarians from the institutions of this part of the country in an ordinary session, in order to make the best decisions for the development of the association, Which ultimately has a direct impact on the region's library system.

The topics to be discussed during the days of the assembly will be: the first day; Strategic Planning Workshop. The second day; Management report of the president, treasury, management of tax reviewer, accountant and working groups period 2016, as well as the socialization of processes of accreditation of programs and institutional accreditation. Finally, there will be the presentation of the group of libraries of Antioquia G8.

Jaime Fausto Moreno García; Director of the library Miguel Ángel Vargas Zapata of the UPC, said that "it is the first time that the assembly of ASOUNIESCA will be realized in the university, receiving to all the Directors of Libraries institutions of higher education of the Atlantic coast".
